Apologies...

Hello Lovelies,

I apologize for my lack of posting for over a month now.  April and May were really rough months for me so far this year.  Shortly after my last blog post my Mother took a turn for the worse.  She passed away the day before Mother's day, a month ago from tomorrow.  My Mother was my everything she raised me herself with of course help from friends and family, but she was my hero.

She always did enjoy learning new things from others.  Even though she would write in her own journal she loved to read blogs and what everyone had to say or felt about anything.  So Thank You all for supporting me so far and I promise after giving myself time to heal some I shall be back full force.  I have had the honor of trying a bundle of different products that I received as gifts or purchased for myself at a great price.  I will definitely have some reviews up when I can.

Though I probably will post sales and samples when I can since we all can use pick me ups especially this day in economy.

Today I felt like truly basking in the Spring spirit!  I put together a short sweet and yet simple outfit with some of my favorite things in my closet.  I have provided links where you can check out the items just click on the above pictures.  Please keep in mind some items may not be available anymore or you have to hunt for them since a few pieces are a couple of years old.  Otherwise if they are available it could be just in other color combos.  So if the items that the link provides isn't the same it should be very similar.

The only thing missing from the outfit that I wore were nude colored stockings.  What's great bout the Forever 21 dress above is that you can wear it with stockings, tights, leggings, skinny jeans, shorts or just paired with your fresh glowing legs all spruced up for the sun.  What I have always loved so much about Fashion is even though there are rules, they are challenged to be broken.  Express your unique personality and you can do no wrong.  All that matters is you feel great in what you look in.

Take for example the outfit I had on a few days ago was black leggings, layered green and white camisoles, brown corduroy jacket, brown ballet flats, champagne sterling silver studs with gold bangles.  It sounds bizarre to some mixing brown and black let alone how tacky it may seem with gold and silver.  But in all honesty it looked nice and sheik!  I will be sure to take a picture next time I have a similar situation in outfits but you all get the drift.

I hate forgetting to take pictures when you have a great outfit, face or hair-do all put together.  Don't you hate missing a kodak moment to capture memories?

From one fellow shopaholic to another I think it’s safe to say that we’re all looking for the best bang for our buck right?  What’s better than great service, awesome quality product, and prices we can all love?!  Sure sometimes the service as far as the shipping costs and time frame aren’t convenient but the rest pretty much makes up for it.

Now if you haven’t already been exposed to great exclusive limited time only and for the most part invited only shopping communities, you need to get on it pronto.  Sites like RueLaLa, Gilt Groupe, Beyond the Rack, Ideeli, One Kings Lane, and Hautelook are the most popular out there.  They offer great brands, prices, and variety of products for us all to race and grab while they last.

On average prices are marked down at least 50% off they do vary but if you’re lucky some brands that are frequent events on the sites might have higher markdowns.  As far as the time frame goes well for the most part events will be anywhere from 2 or 1 days in length, but with great deals most of the inventory flies out the door.  Shopping with your iPhone is another convenience!  I believe they might have have apps set up for Android and what not too but I am not certain.

If you haven’t already signed up I urge you to do so.  Even if you don’t purchase anything shortly after that’s fine.  For a few I still haven’t bought anything and been a member for over a year.  But it’s great to have options especially in this economy.  You never know when a must have for you might appear with a price tag you can’t refuse.
